Not every kitchen can carve out a room for storage, but many of our new builds are able to design a butler’s pantry into the space from the onset. Generally, running custom finished cabinetry through a separate space is not affordable, so we suggest using a cheaper product – we find Uniboard has a great selection of material that can take the use and traffic and still look good, at a fraction of the price. You can have have all the open shelving for dry-goods (hidden strategically away inside), a nook for small appliances like coffee makers and the mini-fridge, drawers for any extras, while still being able to stand and work inside. The darker Uniboard in this custom Butler’s Pantry also works to give the kitchen some contrast and dimension.

This Modern Farmhouse Kitchen was built with entertaining in mind. Newly built in Ennismore, Ontario on the family farm, the goal was an open space for friends and family to enjoy. Shaker cabinets in Benjamin Moore’s “Chantilly Lace” to the ceiling, custom range hood and 14′ island, with a Soapstone countertop by Delray Granite. It really is a dream. Bright, clean, spacious and simple.
