Dreamy and Pristine, our Downtown Cobourg New Build showcases a bright and airy open concept plan with a full butlers pantry.

When we were working through the design of this beautiful kitchen space in a completely rebuilt home in old downtown, we wanted to bring in the texture and dimension of the muted cabinetry in the small details. Simple shaker doors, clean lines, decorative crown, and a custom range hood that is both simple and detailed. How to keep a clean modern look but still incorporate traditional details without feeling stuck between time and space? White-on-white cabinetry.

Its the little details that give an all-white kitchen so much dimension and softness. Full height pantries frame the stove wall, lengthening the 9′ ceiling and emphasizing the custom range hood. We kept a touch of the traditional in the crown details and accents to keep in-tune with old-downtown sensibilities, while still feeling modern.

For organization, we used mostly drawers. Integrated garbage pull outs and cutlery / spice trays. The second sink and bar fridge in the butler’s pantry allows for a completely separate workspace to keep the island open for dining and entertaining.

A bright, white and timeless new build in the heart of town, to be loved for years to come.
